I'm a life long resident of Elmira. I grew up here, went to school here and started a business here. I'm happy to be raising my family here. In 2014 I decided to run for Woolwich Township Council and was successful.
My day job is at The Observer. I oversee the print, design and digital assets of the newspaper. I work with a fantastic team of professionals and love the work that I do. The Observer was built from the ground up with my brother in 1996. We have been recognized by our peers as one of the best community newspapers in the province and Canada several times.
When I'm not working, sitting in a meeting or reading Council meeting packages, I read novels, play basketball, attend concerts, watch plays, shuttle children, fiddle with photography and teach myself new skills.
My wife Heather is a high school teacher in the life skills program at John F. Ross in Guelph. My oldest son Parker attends Eastwood Collegiate in Kitchener as part of their Integrated Arts program. My youngest son Finn entered grade nine at EDSS this year. We have a super cute dog named Billy.
